Dry Soya Chunks Masala
Ingredients
Soya Chunks - handful
Potato - 1 large potato
Onion - 1 large onion
Tomato - 1 large tomato
Cumin seeds - 1 or 2 tsps
Ginger & Garlic paste
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 2 tsps
Coriander Powder - 2 tsps
Coriander leaves - a bunch
Preparation
Soak the soya chunks in a bowl of water for about 30 minutes or so. Pressure cook the soya chunks with a little bit of salt.
In a frying pan add a little bit of oil and add the cumin seeds to it. Cut the onions into long pieces and add it to the oil and saute it. Add the ginger and garlic paste to it and add the tomato pieces to it. Add some salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala and saute it for some time.
Add the cut pieces of potato and the cooked soya chunks to it. Add a little bit of water. Chop the coriander leaves and add it to the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for about 10 minutes on a low flame. Keep stirring to make sure it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Switch it off once the potatoes are cooked.
Serve with rice and enjoy!
